These terms cover cindermail.app and the Cinder apps. By using Cinder, you agree to the terms below.
What Cinder is
Cinder is an app that helps you manage email, calendars, messages, and meeting notes. Features may differ between macOS and iPhone and may depend on your account provider, server configuration, and the availability of third-party services.
The website is for information. A feature description does not guarantee that the feature is available on every device or in every setup.
Accounts and access
Only connect accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for the security of your device, sign-in details, and any API keys you configure. Access to Google, Microsoft, Apple, and other providers is also subject to their terms.
Disconnecting an account or revoking permission may limit sync, calendar, sending, and notifications. You can also manage permissions with the account provider.
Your responsibilities
Use Cinder in accordance with the law and the rights of others. You are responsible for the messages you send, the recipients you choose, your use of calendar information, and decisions based on app suggestions. Review text before sending or publishing it.
Do not use the app to access someone else's account without permission, send spam, or compromise the security of any service.
AI and recordings
AI features can make mistakes, miss context, or produce incorrect answers. Message reviews, summaries, draft text, and meeting takeaways need your review. Cinder does not replace professional advice or your own verification of important information.
If you record a meeting or use transcription, you are responsible for giving any required notices and obtaining any required consent. A recording may include microphone and system audio.
Availability and changes
We are developing Cinder and may change its features, interface, and integrations. Operation depends in part on your internet connection, account settings, and third-party services. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service working, but interruptions and errors may occur.
We do not limit consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We will publish material changes to these terms with a new effective date.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law applicable under relevant legal rules. They do not remove mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
